Whether you are looking to hold a small wedding or elopement, schedule a private event, come to a u-pick, engage in a photo session, or attend one of our scheduled events, we would love to see you at the farm. Snip 'n Sip Thursdays
Snip 'n Sip is coming to Winnowburrow Farm this summer! This idea has been tumbling around in my noggin for a couple of years now and it’s time to finally bring the dream alive. An outdoor, small-group, multi-sensory experience, Snip 'n Sip Thursdays will be a recurring event, falling on the first Thursday of each month, July through October. If you’ve ever wanted to cut your own flower bouquet while “wining and dining” in a beautiful outdoor setting, now’s your chance!
Are you ready for a new experience? Looking for a unique gift idea? Whether it’s date night, girls-night-out, or just a fun evening with friends and family, Snip 'n Sip is sure to be memorable, as well as a great opportunity to meet and mingle with other flower enthusiasts. You are welcome to bring food and a beverage of choice, and cut your own bouquet from our beautiful hilltop flower field.
After your flowers have been cut, we’ll put them in our flower cooler to condition. While you enjoy food and drinks in the flower field, Bonnie will give a basic flower arranging and flower care demonstration.
Pre-registration is required and we recommend booking early. Due to limited parking, space is capped at 15 guests per event. Carpooling is strongly encouraged.
Floral snips and harvesting vessels will be provided. We’ll bag your flowers for you to take home.
What you should bring
A love of flowers and a desire to be outdoors.
Comfortable clothing and sturdy footwear (sandals are not recommended).
A hat and/or sunscreen.
A water bottle.
Your favorite wine, beer or beverage of choice.
A picnic dinner.
A camp chair and/or picnic blanket if preferred. (We will have tables and seating available, as well).
Please carpool if at all possible. Because we are on a hillside, we have very limited parking at the farm. The walk to the flower field is approximately 2-3 minutes for most able-bodied humans and is mostly uphill. Please let us know ahead of time if you or a member of your party needs assistance getting to the field.
In the event of rain or other inclement weather we will reschedule to the following Thursday. If you or a member of your party cannot attend a rescheduled event, we will issue a full or partial refund.
